When you contact support, please include your iPhone model, iOS version, and Kuluka version when relevant.

Never include private notes or information you do not want to share.
Does Kuluka require an account?

No. Kuluka works without an account. Your preferences, saved prompts, history, and optional notes are stored in private app data and are not sent to MN Booth LLC.

Can I choose a different daily prompt?

Yes. Choose Try another on the Today screen. Your replacement becomes that day’s prompt, and there is no swap limit.

Do missed days break a streak?

No. Kuluka does not punish missed days or use guilt-based streaks. Come back whenever a small prompt would help.

Can I use Kuluka without internet access?

Yes. The curated daily prompts and core app features are designed to work offline. Optional Apple Intelligence selection runs on eligible Apple Intelligence-capable iPhones and also depends on the system model being ready.

What does Apple Intelligence personalization require?

Selection from reviewed daily ideas requires iOS 26 or later, an eligible Apple Intelligence-capable iPhone, Apple Intelligence turned on, and a ready supported language. On devices where Apple Intelligence is available or may become available after a settings, readiness, or language change, onboarding introduces personalization first, but it is optional, skippable, and reversible. Earlier iOS versions and ineligible hardware skip that setup page and use reviewed wording.

What happens if Apple Intelligence is unavailable?

Kuluka keeps deterministic reviewed wording available whenever Apple Intelligence is unavailable, times out, declines a request, or returns no valid reviewed choice. On iOS 18, you can still set up people, optionally link a contact, draft and edit a message with fallback wording, choose a recipient, share, use reminders, and view history.

Does Kuluka read all of my contacts?

No. Contact linking is optional and starts only when you choose it for one Kuluka person. Apple’s system interface lets you select the phone contact to link. Kuluka does not scan or bulk-import your address book, and Contacts information is never sent to the on-device model.

What if a linked contact changes or disappears?

Kuluka keeps the phone number you explicitly selected as a local snapshot and does not monitor Contacts afterward. If that number changes or the contact is deleted, unlink and relink the Kuluka person, or replace the recipient in Apple’s composer before sending. The draft screen shows up to the last four digits to help you review it.

Can Kuluka send a message for me?

No. Kuluka can prepare an editable draft and can fill a linked recipient after the draft is ready. You review and edit the words, confirm or change the recipient, and decide whether to tap Send in Apple’s message composer. Kuluka never sends automatically or in the background.

What happens when AI cannot draft a message?

When Personalize prompts is enabled, the current idea permits AI drafting, Apple Intelligence is available on a supported iPhone, and Kuluka has a nonempty render-safe recipient, it selects among action-matched human-reviewed message variants. In every other state, Kuluka uses the deterministic default reviewed starter without model work, so the review and composer flow still works on iOS 18 and whenever Apple Intelligence is unavailable. You can edit the starter, choose a recipient, send it yourself, or cancel.

Does AI send someone’s details to Kuluka?

No. Kuluka uses Apple’s on-device Foundation Models framework and makes no server request for selection. The daily selector can receive filtered notes, relationship, tone, and bounded reviewed choices. Kuluka does not serialize the separately stored name or pronoun fields, linked Contacts fields, completion notes, or separately stored records for other people. It removes stored-name tokens and excludes email-address, web-link, and phone-like note forms, but an ordinary free-form note can still contain pronoun words, postal addresses, references to other people, or other personal text. Local app data may be included in exports you create or iOS backups managed by Apple.

Where is my information stored?

Kuluka stores your app information in private app data, including people and their details, selected reviewed wording, feedback, notes, and history. MN Booth LLC cannot access or recover it through Kuluka. We receive only what you deliberately include in a support message.

What is removed when I delete a person?

Kuluka removes that person and their details, selected and retired wording, and feedback from the active archive. It also removes their optional contact link and any terminal personalization attempt for that setup. If completed history stored wording selected for them, Kuluka restores that entry’s original curated prompt instead of deleting the whole moment. A separate pre-import recovery copy can still contain earlier data until you delete or replace that copy, or use Delete all local data.

What is the pre-import recovery copy?

Before a valid import replaces your current data, Kuluka keeps one local copy of the prior archive. Settings shows when it exists. You can delete that copy separately without changing current data, and a later valid import replaces it. If a compatible backup contains a completion for a prompt this version no longer includes, Kuluka keeps the completion’s identity, date, private note, relationship, and nickname. It replaces the unverifiable prompt wording with the neutral text, “This prompt is no longer available.” and clears personalization provenance.

01

Fix daily reminders

  1. Open Kuluka and go to Settings, then Daily Reminder.
  2. Confirm the reminder is enabled and choose a time.
  3. Open iPhone Settings, choose Notifications, then Kuluka.
  4. Turn on Allow Notifications and the alert types you want.
  5. If needed, turn the reminder off and on again in Kuluka.

Focus modes and Scheduled Summary can also delay how a reminder appears.

02

Export your data

  1. Open Kuluka and go to Settings.
  2. In Your data, choose Export data.
  3. Select where you want to save the export.

Your export may include relationship preferences, people and their details, optional contact-link records, personalization settings, selected or retired wording and feedback, nicknames, saved prompts, history, and private notes. It may also include terminal personalization-attempt state. Store it somewhere you trust.

03

Delete your data

  1. Open Kuluka and go to Settings.
  2. In Your data, choose Delete all local data.
  3. Review the warning and confirm.

Delete all local data removes personal information from your current archive, deletes any pre-import recovery copy, clears pending reminders, and leaves non-personal defaults so Kuluka can open normally. To keep current data and remove only the recovery copy, choose Delete pre-import recovery copy in the same section. Use the in-app controls before uninstalling when you need certainty, because iOS manages App Group container cleanup and device backups.
